Good day everyone!
From time to time we have ideas that seem interesting to us, but it is not always possible to implement them. In addition to the “blogs” and “questions / answers” sections, I propose to create a section or at least a separate blog called “I have an idea!”. This blog can become a storehouse of interesting ideas, which usually have no place in other blogs. Just like in other blogs, it will be possible to vote for ideas and hope that there will be a person who implements this or that idea.
Idea!
As the first idea for the new section, I suggest the Let's Compare service.
Imagine a website where you can compare anything with anything. For example, one car with another. One phone with another. Or, for example, compare all existing analogs of the android market by specified parameters. Tempting?
')
The implementation can be presented in the form of an analogous Wikipedia, where each participant can add and modify any data, be it adding a new object or new parameters for comparison.
Let this service has the following (three) entities:
* Objects (for example: "HDC Desire Smartphone", "Nokia 3110 Mobile Phone")
* Groups (for example: "Mobile phones", "Smartphones", "Cars", etc.)
- The groups combine objects with common features
- Each object can be only in one group
- Each group has an inherent set of features (for example, for the Smartphones group: color, weight, operating system, approximate cost, etc.)
* Comparisons (for example: “comparing mobile devices with mobile phone features”)
- In one comparison, you can combine several groups (for example: "Mobile phones" and "Smartphones")
- In comparison, you can add signs inherent in groups
What users will edit:
* Add new groups
- Add objects to groups
- Add new signs for the group
* Add new objects (the object must belong to a single group)
- Edit features inherent in objects
* Add new comparisons
- Merge groups into comparisons
- Add or remove features for comparison (selected from existing features in groups)
What we will receive from this service:
And we will receive answers to questions like: "I want an analogue of the android market, but with open software."
And the answer will be: f-droid.org.
