Allofmp3.com owner faces jail

The criminal case of the disgraced company Mediaservice, LLC, which owned the recently finally closed Allofmp3.com site, continues to periodically give an information occasion. At this time, all attention is focused around Denis Kvasov, the former director of the company, whom our state sincerely wishes for prison and a weighty monetary fine.

For which Mr. Kvasov has been charged, obviously, it is not necessary to tell. I recall only that he is being tried under article 146 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on violation of copyright and related rights. For this, the owner of Allofmp3.com has a tooth not only for his native state, but also for a number of major Western record labels, including EMI, Warner and Universal. For all his unjust acts, Denis Kvasov may receive three years in prison and fines of 15 million rubles.

As for Allofmp3.com itself, at the beginning of this month, the site was permanently covered, but its clones appeared on the Web - Alltunes and MP3Sparks. So the war with Mediaservice LLC is now most of all reminiscent of the fight with the Serpent Gorynych, who has two more in place of the severed head.
