Halluc II is exactly the name of a robot who imagines himself either a tank or a cockroach. And maybe both of them together. Anyway, his Japanese parents from the organizations of Leading Edge Development and Chiba Institute of Design did their best to work: the robot, despite its fairly decent size, is characterized by maneuverability, speed of movement and increased maneuverability, which is facilitated by eight legs and wheels. And still the device differs in considerable weight: 20 kilograms is not a joke. But the most interesting thing is that the bot is controlled by the Linux operating system. Which distribution is sitting inside a giant cockroach - not reported. But it is known for sure that the 800-MHz AMD Geode is installed as a processor in the Halluc II.
