ComScore introduces new internet research metrics

Research company ComScore has implemented a new metric called the ComScore Segment Metrix H / M / L.

This is another way to determine the properties of the audience, which divides visitors to Internet sites into three groups: Heavy, Medium and Light. By the names, it is quite clear that the first group is the avid Internet users who do not get out of the network, the second one is this and that, and the third is people who surf the Internet occasionally.

At the same time, users of the Heavy group will make up about 20% of the entire Internet audience, Medium - 30%, and Light - 50%. The new metric will allow advertisers to more accurately access certain layers of the network population and determine their behavior.
