The source of information was a vacancy published by the Redmond corporation on July 19, which suggests that, just like in 1993, developers had the opportunity to create Visual Basic programs for Office, now a new version of the office suite will also be able to expand its capabilities through third-party efforts in HTML5 and JavaScript. In particular, in the text of the vacancy it is noted that due to the use of a new web-oriented technology, it will be possible to develop client-server applications, integrate them with the cloudy Office 365 and / or SharePoint — in other words, bring all the benefits of cloud technologies to a regular desktop application.
