Probably many of you are involved in sports. For example, I often ride a bike, and at one point I thought: “Why not write down the path that I travel?”. No sooner said than done.
For my then-Nokia 5530, the Sports Tracker program was found (only for Nokia smartphones). She could record a GPS track, show different speed settings and more. But then I switched to Android. And so successfully it turned out that this program appeared on Android.
About this program I want to tell you today!
There are many images under the cut!Android client
Home screen

- Workouts - the number of workouts (tracks) that you recorded
- Total time - the total amount of time you spent on training
- Distance - how many kilometers you have traveled / ran / swam / flew in training
- Energy - how many kilocalories you spent for all your workouts.
By the way! In the settings you can specify your name, height, weight, on the basis of which the spent calories will be calculated. And if you want to be even more precise, you can buy a special pulsation belt in their store, which will send data to the program via bluetooth.
- Latest workout - last workout
- Sunrise - what time is the dawn
- Sunset - at what time sunset. The numbers in the screenshot after the yellow arrow down - this is the time that is left until sunset
Well, the big orange button Start new workout - Start a new workout. There you can select a workout type and set up auto pause. Auto-pause is a very useful option - as soon as you stop, the track recording stops (i.e. the real average speed will not fall in motion), as soon as you start moving, the track recording will continue.

Website address:
http://sports-tracker.com/Of no less interest is the Sports Tracker website. It is made completely on flash.
Screen dashboard
As soon as you enter the site with a login and password, you will be taken to the Dashboard screen. There will be all the basic information and all the basic options. See for yourself (the pictures are clickable):

My Workouts Screen
The most interesting and necessary to my vzgyad page! Here you can see
everything about your workouts. The camera icon on the track is the photos I took while recording the track. They are also uploaded to the service, but not in high resolution (maximum 800x600). And if you listen to music during a workout - the names of the tracks will be displayed on the track as an icon of eighth notes. But I'm not a music lover, and it's dangerous to listen to music on a bicycle;)

Screen diary
Not less interesting page, with a bias on the statistics. Here you can apply various filters / sorting to workouts, view workouts in a convenient way on the calendar.

Screen explore
On this page you can see on the map, who else near you uses this program. On the map, other people’s workouts are displayed (if they allowed everyone to view the workouts by setting the public option, by default, the workouts are loaded in private mode, that is, you can only watch workouts) as points.

power usage
About the devouring program battery. The battery is 1250mAh, the processor frequency is 600 MHz.
GPS only enabled - 4-5 hours track recording
External Bluetooth GPS connected - 20-30 hours track recording
I write a track with the Internet turned off, the map in the program then does not load. I use vector maps.
Conclusion
That's all that I wanted to tell you about the recording of GPS tracks for sports. For Android, there are numerous such programs, such as Endomondo, RunKeeper, but for some reason I did not like them. Sports Tracker is a young program, and so far not everything is smooth in it (it sometimes slows down at my 600 MHz), but I really like it!
