REMAPPIM KEYBOARD AND MOUSE

Take a look at your keyboard. Look carefully at each key. Studied? Now answer the simple question: are there keys on your keyboard that you don’t use at all? I bet that the answer is yes. Why not make these meaningless keys handy shortcuts? That is what I will tell under the cut.

Why is it?

In the first place, of course, for convenience, as mentioned above. Why do you need the Scroll Lock key, or, for example, Drop-down? It is possible to hang on this key some convenient label, it will be any good, than a senseless expenditure of working space, isn't it?

But the reasons can actually be much more. Most often, people want to remap their keyboard because of the existence of the Caps Lock key, personally this key is indifferent to me, the dislike for it most likely comes from those who have some problems with blind text

Gorazo less often, but still there is a situation when I really want to remap the mouse buttons. To be clearer, why the hell should touch the mouse, I will describe my situation. Every day I spend a few hours chatting in Mumble, where I have the Push-to-Talk feature selected to activate the microphone. I keep the mouse constantly, but the hand is not always above the keyboard, so the Mouse5 button was chosen as the shortcut button on PtT, which, unfortunately, is used by many applications, contrary to my wishes. This button is most annoying while surfing; in any browser, the “go forward” function is hung on it. When I had a Razer Lachesis mouse, there were few problems with it, the regular software from the manufacturer allowed me to do with the mouse buttons. Unfortunately, with a better mouse, the G9x had to switch to a less convenient software - SetPoint, which does not support such freaks.

I hope the preface is quite detailed, so let me get down to business.
