comparative study (PDF) on differences in IQ of users of different browsers.

It turned out that the highest intelligence - the users of the rare browser Opera. Moreover, their IQ
grows with time , no matter how scary it sounds.

While Opera users have an IQ score of over 125 points, Internet Explorer users have intelligence registered at a level below average in the region of 80.

Between 2006 and 2011, IE user intelligence dropped significantly. Probably all more or less intelligent people switched to alternative browsers. Over the same period, the intelligence of Opera users has grown from 100 to 125+.
The following graph shows the distribution of users with different IQ across different browsers. On the vertical scale - the share of this browser in a sample of users with a certain level of IQ. For example, if you look at the green line (Firefox), you can see that among people with low IQ (on the left) its share is small, and among people with the highest IQ (on the right) it is the undisputed leader.

In the group of people with minimal intelligence, the undisputed market leader is IE.
