Ubuntu One increases free storage and reaches a million users

... although the second happened earlier, in May. But both events were announced now.
image For those who do not know, Ubuntu One is a dropbox analogue - cloud storage, primarily sharpened for synchronizing data between different computers. Despite the name, Ubuntu One supports different operating systems (Ubuntu, Android, iOS, Windows in beta), and for mobile systems there is a function of streaming listening to music from the cloud for $ 3.99 per month.
So, now the amount of storage for free users has increased from 2GB to 5GB. This tariff plan is now called "Ubuntu One Free". Increasing the volume for every 20GB costs $ 2.99 (per month).

The Ubuntu One App Developer Program was also opened, the goal of which is to provide developers (for all platforms) with the maximum information and support for the development of Ubuntu One and the integration of U1 into their applications.
