Hello. As you remember, Evernote announced an application contest, the prize fund of which is an exorbitant amount :) Already there are several services and between them is quite a tough fight. I suggest everyone to look at them together and discuss the chances of success - it seems quite funny and interesting. Under the cut - review of the finalists. Voting takes place with the help of your twitter account on the Evernote website, under each applicant I will give a link to the vote. You can vote once a day. So, let's begin.
Colorstache
Colorstache is a search service for notes in evernote by color. A kind of local search for images from Google.
To tell the truth, I can not even imagine why it is necessary. It looks nice and original, but the meaning, to me personally, is unclear. Although designers who work with evernote, can more objectively evaluate this figovin, so let's wait until they catch up in the discussion. ')
The guys have a very good video series with good music, which I attach below. The service is already up and running, so anyone can use it and make a verdict based on real impressions.
MyWorld is an app from the Wikitude team. The Wikitude service itself is positioned as a browser for a world that uses augmented reality. That is, you start the service, turn the camera around and see where your friends left tweets, posts in 4square or facebook. Fun enough.
So, their application MyWorld allows you to leave notes about places directly from the evernot. After that, the notes will be attached to the facebook map and the Wikitude service.
Very nice and pleasant, especially if you want to remember a place in the city that you rarely visit. More comfortable than 4square. More detailed review in English in the video. I want to add that you can save any notes even without having an application on the phone - it is enough to have an euronote, with GPS location detection enabled.
Notablemeals - as the name implies, the service is aimed at people who want to remember everything they have ever eaten. So far there is only an iPhone app and there is hardly anything else: the probability that the service will become extremely popular is extremely small.
Although maybe I'm the only one? And all the other people every day walking down the street think: “And what did I eat when I was in my first year on Monday? We must go to the Notablemeals and see! ". The application they have is quite indifferent both in design and settings, in fact, like the video:
Sniptastic! - application for programmers. It works like this: you take the code, push it to the Sniptastic site, the code is colored and synchronized with evernote, where it is stored until needed.
The downside is that you will not see the colored code from the evernote editor. Only on the site. But on the other hand, the language you chose for coloring the code is automatically saved by the tag. Doubtful convenience, but can be useful.
Also, there is a plugin for Visual Studio, with which you can save code directly from the editor.
In fact, the application is still dopilivat and dopilivat, but in the end can come out very handy tool for freelancers lonely, who love to travel the world.
Touchanote is a post-it future. Based on reading NFC tags. We only need a phone that supports reading NFC and an NFC tag, after which we place the tag on any place and attach any information from evernote to it.
Now, at any moment when we bring the phone to the tag - we will see the necessary information. So far, everything looks quite cumbersome and inconvenient, but in the future it may become popular if you correct some things. Below, in a fairly short video, the girl shows us examples of the use of this technology.
Zendone is my favorite, a service that makes evernote GTD, and syncs it all with the Google calendar.
I think this is the real contender for winning the competition. By the way, a very nice design, although it's hard not to notice that it is too mac'ovy.
Unfortunately, the service is not yet available, but you can leave your mail on the site to participate in the beta. I already left :)

In general, it remains to vote and wait. As we saw above, the list of finalists included both mega-popular geo-services and fairly geek projects like NFC post-it or code coloring. As always, it is extremely curious that did not go on the list. Sorry to see.
