New Document Format - CDF (Computable Document Format): Alternative to PDF?

Wolfram Research has demonstrated a new electronic document format called CDF.

The main "chip": interactivity; the user can interact with the schedule (enter new data) and immediately see the result, etc.

Currently working in the browser (requires installation of CDF player, ~ 100 mb).

You can prepare a CDF document in the Mathematica 8 package.
