Google invests in the production of cellular stations
Google Inc. took part in the investment project in the UK company Ubiquisys, which manufactures so-called “femtocells”, which are miniature cellular base stations for home or office use.
The most popular product of Ubiquisys is ZoneGate, a transceiver device that allows you to use cellular communication and high-speed Internet connection in places with weak signal.
Google’s interest in such investments continues its strategy of entering the Internet access and WiFi services markets. Today it became known that the search giant is ready to spend at least $ 4.6 billion to participate in a US auction for frequencies in the 700 MHz spectrum. ')
