Google launches radio ads

Google successfully implements plans to launch offline advertising campaigns of its own clients. Observers are seriously worried that the search giant could kill prices in traditional media, such as newspapers and radio, causing a drop in the incomes of leading media holdings.

Nevertheless, Google has already begun to prepare the ground for conquering new markets - the Google Audio Ads service is running in test mode, which works as an auction to buy advertising. So far, about 20 online advertisers have gained access to the new advertising model, who have the opportunity to place their videos on 720 (!) Radio stations, but this is only the beginning. Google expects that by the end of the year, the number of advertisers will already number in the thousands, and the strategic purchase of the dMarc radio station in January 2006 will allow us to consolidate the chosen model in the advertising market in America.

However, Google’s ambitions are not limited to this - the company conducts intensive negotiations and is preparing to place adWords ads in newspapers and magazines.
