LinguaLeo users already know the first three types: “word-translation”, “translation-word” and “word constructor”. Now they have received a new design, a more user-friendly interface and the output of the training results after passing through each round:



They allow you to fix the direct and reverse translation of words and phrases and their spelling. At the same time, in each training session, the context emerges in which we meet the word in the Jungle, the textual and visual associations, the pronunciation of the word.

There are also three completely new types of training for LinguaLeo: “vocabulary cards”, “listening” and “crossword”.



“Vocabulary cards” are a traditional way to consolidate vocabulary. The user himself indicates if he knows the translation for each word. If he knows - the training has been completed; if not, he goes into standby mode for re-passing (the principle of interval repetition is used here).







“Listening” - the user listens to a word or phrase and must enter what he heard in the input field. At the same time, the links between listening and writing a word are fixed.







Crosswords have gained new value on LinguaLeo: The Spirit of the Jungle turns word translations into questions for a crossword puzzle. The full version using words from the personal dictionary is available only in the “ golden status ”.
