Sometimes these chic things are created by modders, that you just wonder how a similar idea could have come up to someone. And not just to come, but also to be realized after some time. So, one of the modders, Steve La Riccia, for a long time owned two rare books: the Mac of 1991 and the typewriter Remington, 1897. Without thinking twice, this craftsman decided to combine both rarities into a single whole.
No sooner said than done, and after a while Steve created a modding project called Wozniak's Conundrum. Work on the project lasted for quite a long time - about three months, and this was not the work that was conducted in fits and starts. The master was so passionate about his project that he literally separated himself from the whole world for these three months.

Mac 1991 release works with Mac OS 7.5. As a mouse, a device based on a telegraph key is used. This device also includes a 56K modem in the configuration, which was assembled from parts of old phones. There is also a floppy drive.
An interesting solution Steve came up with as a replacement for the Enter button, which, as you know, is not on the keyboard typewriters (mechanical). Instead of this button a special lever was used, and now the whole system works fine.
Now the project is on display in the Mac Store, in Eugene, Oregon, USA.
