By law, logs with user actions should be stored for a year.
The Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States adopted a model law “On the Basics of Internet Regulation”. Most of it is of a formal nature and speaks of the support and development of the Internet by states. But there is a very interesting point, which is in the last article.
Article 13. Countering the use of the Internet for unlawful purposes The state takes legislative and other measures to counter the use of the Internet for unlawful purposes. For these purposes, the state establishes the obligation of Internet service operators to keep information about users and services rendered to them for at least 12 months and provide this information at the request of judicial and (or) law enforcement agencies.

Internet service operator - a person engaged in providing users with access to the Internet and (or) other services provided using Internet technologies;
Due to the vagueness of the wording “services rendered using Internet technologies,” it turns out that not only providers, but also the owners of many sites are now obliged to store data about users' actions for 12 months.
