Google+ application for iPhone appeared on the App Store

The Google+ app for the iPhone today has appeared in the App Store, and you can download the free app here .

According to the description of the application, “Google+ for mobile devices allows you to share the right things with the right people much easier. Group chat allows you to send super-fast messages to people who matter most to you. And no matter where you are, the tape allows you to stay up to date with what your friends share ( sharing ) and where they are marked ( checking in ). ”

Like on the site itself, Google+ for iPhone has circles, an update feed and group chat.

While the Google+ app for Android became available on the very first day, the app for the iPhone was still being reviewed by Apple. Until now, iPhone users have been able to use the mobile version of Safari’s Google+ site, which is not as functional as the app.

Applications for the iPhone and for Android are quite similar in functionality, with the exception of the instant download feature present in the application for Android. This feature allows you to automatically upload videos and photos to your Google+ album in the cloud.

Users of the iPad and iPod will have to use the mobile site, as the application only works on iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4. According to reviews, the application does not work on iOS 5, and on iOS 4 it periodically drops. Google+ Mobile's general manager, Punit Soni, has already responded to some complaints on Google+ and has promised updates.
