The question “why a GPS surfer?” Is asked by almost all those who see a new brainchild of inventors from Lenart Studios. It occurred to them to build in themselves a simple surfboard GPS module and even an LCD display. The whole structure has received the uncomplicated name Surf Radio, but it’s not yet ready to conquer the hearts of lovers of big waves. Actually, this device still exists, as they say, only on paper, but it is already praised by the creators. Say, the “smart board” is packed with a special sensor that tracks the surfer’s presence on the board, and if necessary, can not only tell the surfer the coordinates of his exact location (which, however, will hardly help, turn out to be a poor fellow somewhere in the open sea), but transfer these to the rescue service. In addition, the device built into the board is equipped with a walkie-talkie function, so that the owner can talk with friends, if he, of course, finds at least one friend with the exact same board. And it probably will cost a lot, although the creators have not yet shared the exact information about the cost of the invention.
