Eco Drive: in full compliance with environmental requirements

Apparently, the battle for the wallets of customers and in the IT sector has entered a little replicated, but promising commercial advantage. The environmental orientation of their products is not only trying to market. "Exhaust" is less, saving more - this is the motto of eco-PC and peripherals. Another masterpiece of environmentally friendly products is shown to us by Kanguru Solutions, stating that their new external Eco Drive is nothing less than “environmentally friendly and energy efficient” of all devices on the market today.

If you take a closer look at the “eco-friendliness” of Eco Drive more attentively, it turns out that all of it consists in approximately 75% energy saving. Which, however, is not so bad. Such indicators are achieved due to the presence of the drive in three modes of operation. In Idle mode, power consumption is reduced to 80% of the standard (it turns on after three seconds of idle time). Standby mode is activated after three minutes of "idling" and allows the device to reduce energy consumption up to 20% of the norm. Power Down, as the most economical mode, allows you to reduce the appetites of a device that has stood for five minutes when it is not operating to 5-10% of normal consumption. It is noteworthy that such figures are the default values set for various modes. With the help of specialized software, these indicators can be changed.

As for the technical characteristics, Eco Drive is quite "packed." The maximum capacity is 750 GB, the data transfer rate is 480 Mbps (Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface).
