I am one of those people who use Google Reader to subscribe to podcasts. There is little convenience in this, but when you work with several computers, this is the only solution that suits me.
As it was before: I went to Google Reader, opened the latest issue and downloaded it directly to the player or to the disk. Yes, the developers have provided the opportunity to listen directly in the reader window, for this purpose flash player is used:

But it's a shame that when you open another RSS subscription, the current one closes and the sound is no longer played. The other day there was a pleasant update of this service - now there is a reference next to the player

, clicking on which leads to the opening of the player in a separate window (tab) of the browser! Hooray!
