Flash drive cryptex for lovers of design and cryptography

Today I accidentally came across information about a very interesting flash drive project, the data on which is protected not by computer protection methods, but by means of mechanical cryptography. Yes, this is a cryptex flash drive, which is different from everything I've seen so far. Developed by a Russian designer who has already brought the product to life. That is, it’s not just a pretty picture in Paint Adobe Photoshop, which is what many Chinese comrades are addicted to, creating the concepts of all kinds of iPhone5 and anti-printers erasing what is written on the page. This is a completely and real project, the photo of which is shown in the announcement.

A cylindrical flash drive is inside the cryptex (the Da Vinci Code, and many works before it, also introduced readers to it). In order to get your flash drive, you must correctly dial a combination of numbers on a digital lock (similar to the lock in the old and new "diplomats"). It’s a pity, of course, that the author didn’t foresee the option of destroying the flash drive in case of a wrong set of numbers, but what is the concept, and so good.
