2nd meeting of the St. Petersburg Group DEFCON-Russia

I am pleased to announce the second meeting of the St. Petersburg group DEFCON-Russia, which will be held on July 15 at 7 pm. In short, the Defcon-Russia group ( DC7812 group ) is an independent and open community, united by interests in the field of IT and information security.
The main goal is to create a community among students, programmers, hackers, system administrators and other geeks. So we creep out from the forums and go to live chat :)
The group is debatable, so everyone who wants to speak, to offer, their ideas and show their work, and most importantly - to find like-minded people, is welcome.

Place - QD Business Incubator at the St. Petersburg State University ITMO. Address - Exchange Line V.O., 14.
The venue was changed if the attentive reader noticed, and for good reason.

The popularity of the MacOS X operating system has recently increased. In this connection, the degree of interest in the exploitation of various vulnerabilities, as well as the introduction of various defense mechanisms to counter attacks, has increased.
The report will cover two MacOS X branches: Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and the fresh Lion (10.7.X).
Will be considered innovations that have appeared
in Lion, and how they complicated the exploitation of various vulnerabilities.
Technicians will be demonstrated using both custom applications (Safari) and MacOS X (XNU) kernels.

mechanisms, mechanisms of interaction with user applications, various features in the architecture.

Pavel Ershov - “Bitcoin Decentralized Cryptocurrency”

During this report, students will get acquainted with Bitcoin cryptocurrency: architecture, working principle.
There will also be covered the security problems of this technology and possible solutions.
