At the end of November, I got the 4th iPhone from the States. He honestly spent half a year in a box while I was sluggishly looking for an unlock. Finally, a couple of weeks ago, the phone was unlocked and I want to share the results.

iPhone 4g version 4.1 (AT & T)
baseband - 10/2/04

Gevey PRO (hardwarny unlock)

Details:
The first attempt to unlock just Gevey-it was not crowned with success, despite the stated support of my device. The probability is rather great that this Gevey was fake, but it will already remain in history. But keep this in mind if you want to order it for a lot of money.

After the search, Gevey PRO was found, which I ordered through the applenberry website. The site was attended by sufficiently detailed instructions for use .

In my case, after step 2, one antenna appears (1 bar signal) and after that it is necessary to immediately call 112 - step 4, and further along the manual.
If you go as it is written in the instructions - after clicking Accept in the Welcome menu, I had the message “No SIM card installed” and that's it - call 112, don't call - what difference does it make.

Solution Minuses:
The battery should not go down (you have to do the same thing again, and this is still nervous).
Most likely, when flying and turning on Airplane mode, you will have to repeat the operation

Advantages of the solution:
When traveling on the subway and any other "natural" loss of communication do not need to do anything.

In conclusion, I note: yesterday, when I synchronized with iTunes, the phone with a fright was updated to version 4.3.3 (04.10.01) - I had to perform the manipulations mentioned above. Works!
