Sony is going to put into operation the Playstation Network and Qriocity by July 6

Sony has emerged with the promise of putting into service the Playstation Network and Qriocity services. Interestingly, the latest access to these services will be the Japanese. Until now, services have been disabled, as previously reported by Sony representatives, the disconnection was made for security reasons, after unknown hackers launched a series of attacks. As a result of these attacks, hackers got a "trophy" in the form of a database of 100 million users of the Playstation Network.

Most users of PSN, plus users of the Qriocity service have been left without access to the service for many weeks, starting April 20. Since that time, the Sony server hasn’t attacked, except that a lazy hacker, the impression that hacker groups were simply “noted” in the hacking. From the very beginning of the hacking, representatives of the corporation claim that the hackers did not receive payment information of users, including a database with credit cards of users of hacked services.

But some time after hacking PSN, hackers gained access to the database of users of Sony Online Entertainment PC. The merged database contained data on 25 million users of this service.

Nevertheless, some experts believe that the hackers were able to get the users' billing data as well, the compromised credit cards have not yet surfaced anywhere. Earlier, Sony reported a loss of $ 170 million, and it seems that this is only the tip of the iceberg, since all the losses that followed the hacking of servers have not yet been announced.

After Sony, the servers of many gaming companies, including Nintendo, Sony, Bethesda and others, were hacked. But most of all, of course, went to Sony, whose shares fell in price by about $ 10 apiece. Now the stock price starts to grow a little, but it is still far from the initial level.

Hopefully, after hacking, gaming companies, and not only gaming companies, have become more serious about network security issues.
