According to a StatCounter study published July 1, the share of Google Chrome in the global market for the first time exceeded 20%.

In particular, now the share of the browser of the search giant is 20, 7%, and in June 2009 it occupied only 2.8%. It is curious that Chrome is most popular in South America, where in April it took the second position with 29.7%, leaving Internet Explorer ahead of itself at 44%, but overtaking Firefox, which has a 24.6% share there.

Firefox globally lowered the bar slightly - it now has a 28% share, whereas two years ago it occupied 30% of the global market.
