The other day, Facebook executives announced that the company is going to present something “amazing” to its users next week. What it will be, the social network team was not going to tell until the announcement. But the ubiquitous journalists have already learned that it will be video chat based on Skype. Apparently, Facebook decided to present an alternative to video chat from Google + (those who have already tried out this chat say that this is one of the best services for video conferences with the participation of several people).
So, before Facebook and Skype have already presented a joint development - the integration of Facebook in the Skype client. Now, it seems, there will be reverse integration, the social network integrates Skype.

So far only this is known, how Facebook video chat will work, whether additional software needs to be downloaded, whether the chat will support multi-user mode - none of this is known.
I wonder if this interaction was planned earlier, or did Facebook decide to accelerate due to the emergence of a powerful competitor? Who knows. Probably, the preparation for launching a video chat on Facebook has been going on for a long time, because the development of such a project is by no means one or two weeks away.
