Mango - for all developers!

Just over two months ago on MIX11, we told the world of mobile developers about Windows Phone codename “Mango”. About a month ago, everyone received new improved development tools for Windows Phone, including a phone emulator with Mango. At the same time, we showed the world almost all the features of the new OS that will be available to customers. Our collaboration with Nokia is gaining momentum. Despite the skepticism inherent in the developers, the partners from the Finnish company do not cease to surprise us pleasantly.

Since its inception, the ecosystem of developers for Windows Phone 7 has created more than 20,000 applications.

Today we are taking the next big step.

Windows Phone Developer Tools Beta 2 will be available to every developer registered on the App Hub.

But that's not all. We are starting to distribute the update of Windows Phone codename “Mango” for developers! Yes, yes, this update is for your phones.

The most active developers will begin to receive letters of invitation to update today. In the next two to three weeks, it is planned that the upgrade infrastructure will reach full capacity for all registered developers.
