Craftsmen from Google in Kalifoniya launched seven weather probes into the stratosphere, complementing each of them with a Nexus S phone to be able to obtain data from their sensors (GPS, gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer).
July 15 of this year, the flagship Galaxy S II will justify its name: our colleagues from the Japanese division of Samsung will launch it into the stratosphere using a similar weather probe. It is expected that the device will pick up a height of more than 30,000 meters above the ground, and it will take him about 90 minutes. The flight will be broadcast live via the Internet through the USteam service. Everyone will have the opportunity to send their message from their account in Mixi, Facebook or Twitter to the pacing space(in fact, stratospheric, but it doesn’t sound so beautiful) the space of a gadget. In addition, seven popular Japanese musicians dedicated their songs to this event, capturing the flight of Galaxy S II in world culture. :)
