Google
has changed its privacy policy in response to complaints from supporters of secrecy that the search giant has been keeping user activity information for too long.
Cookies that the Google policy has touched are small files stored on computers that contain information about user preferences so that when they re-enter the site, they do not need to be re-entered. Now, following the new policy, the Google cookies
will expire in two years , and not in 2038, as it was before. These changes were made for those who do not know how to manually delete cookies.
In fact, only a small number of users will be affected by this change. That is, if you decide to stop using Google from today, your data will disappear on July 17, 2009. But if you still go to Google again until July 17, 2009, the lifetime of your cookies will automatically last for two years.
