Remote hand control

Specialists at the University of Tokyo and Sony have developed a PossessedHand device for remote control of the arm using electrical stimulation of the forearm muscles. The device is quite simple, consists of 28 electrodes and a control microcontroller on the Arduino platform, which is connected to a computer.

It is assumed that in this way it is possible to train a person to play musical instruments. True, muscle stimulation does not provide enough effort to really pinch the koto strings, but it is used as a clue to the beginning student.

Of course, the fact that it was made by Sony gives a special piquancy to this invention. We are waiting for PossessedHand support to appear in PlayStation Network accounts.
