Chrome extension for Google Music

Although there is no official extension or app for Google Music in the Chrome online store, there is an excellent third-party “ Better Music Beta ” extension. The extension adds a button that shows information about the song being played, allows you to pause the song, rate it, or include the next song. It can also show a notification every time a new song is included.

Another good feature is the integration with Last.fm. Through Better Music Beta you can scrobble songs and add them to your favorite tracks.

Alas, to listen to music, the tab with Google Music still has to be kept open. If the developer redid this extension into a background application, it would be generally excellent.

To use Google Music, you need an invitation (I received it only the day before yesterday). In theory, the service should work exclusively with US users, but Google only checks the location when you request an invitation. That is, you can request an invitation through an American proxy, and then calmly use the service.
