Spawnfest July 9-10, 2011
Spawnfest is an annual 48-hour Erlang language developer competition where you can compete with other developers to create the best Erlang application, library, or anything else you like! The event will occur on July 9th and 10th.
Organizers say, “We hope that Spawnfest will help rally the Erlang developer community and get people interested in our favorite programming language.”

The judges include Bob Ippolito and Ulf Wiger.
