First provider

It all started one day when I discovered the inaccessibility of the local torrent, located on the site of the Voronezh branch of Beeline (formerly Golden Telecom).

Second provider

Fortunately, I had a second provider, Svyaz Telecom. What was my surprise when I saw the address of the tracker:

The tracker is closed. We do everything for your convenience. Thank you for understanding! We remind you that the resource forum works separately and is still available at: forum.trackerhost

I went to the tracker forum to read what people are writing. The administrator of the torrent claimed that it increases the functionality and therefore the site does not work. The answer to what functionality should appear after this disconnection of the tracker “for technical reasons” could not be expected from it. After that, on the tracker forum, I began to raise the topic, that two closed trackers at the same time are the machinations of "copywriting", but not technical reasons. The forum was also disabled, and this time more thoroughly:

Third provider

I also had a third Summa Telecom provider. Her torrent was also unavailable. I went to look for information on the official forum, and she still found:

Dear subscribers! In connection with the prescription of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Voronezh, we are forced to suspend the work of the torrent tracker. I ask you to take this step with understanding and accept apologies for the inconvenience.

As the correspondents of “MYO!” Found out, the mysterious instruction No. 47/2306 was indeed sent to the administrators of the Voronezh torrent trackers. This information was confirmed by the head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Voronezh Region Igor Sushkov.

“The K department conducted monitoring of Voronezh torrents, after which prescriptions were sent to resource managers with recommendations to remove unlicensed and pornographic materials,” explained Igor Sushkov. - Apparently, some have decided that it is easier for them to close torrents altogether than to clean out all illegal content.

The prescription is advisory in nature, Igor Sushkov clarified, because the police do not have legal grounds to close the torrent: the users who posted the files are not responsible for the pirated content.

According to the sources of “MYO!”, A similar prescription was received by one of the largest providers of the city “Informsvyaz” (brand “Freedom”), however, while their torrent continues to work.
