A first look at the Nokia N9: a couple of videos and a couple of thoughts
I myself see that the video from yesterday’s presentation of the Nokia N9 turned out to be too enthusiastic, but it was just such a cheerful mood that hovered there, everyone liked the phone, including me. It is clear that the euphoria will soon subside a bit, but I couldn't help but rejoice at Nokia. It is clear that Nokia has problems, that the company connects its future with WindowsPhone, and that releasing a smartphone with the announcement that there will be nothing more on this platform is a file. But I understand perfectly well how important it was for the Finns to produce a high-quality, modern product, proving that there is powder, they will fight. And it looks like everything is the same: just a big screen without buttons, but compare with any android-smartphone, there IS a design, industrial, old-school. And I really liked the way MeeGo works.
Who knows, maybe this is the last device of the very old, good Nokia, its farewell exit for loyal fans. Perhaps merged with Microsoft, it will be a completely different company. ')
PS It was nice when, during the demonstration of the Nokia N9 browser, Peter Schneider came to Nomobile.ru, where we had news about N9 in the morning. But, unfortunately, there was no full-fledged interview with him: there was not enough time, and no face-to-face, and, frankly, there were no revelations there. So I don’t see a point to publish the interview separately, but I remember one moment: when I asked about the target audience of the Nokia N9, Peter Schneider asked in response - what is the target audience of the iPhone? And I thought: a, really, what?
