Since the topic of text games is not indifferent to me, I publish the news here. I hope someone will be interested.
The Contest of Russian Interactive Literature 2011 has started.
What is this competition?')
This is a game contest.
Are you the author of the game or want to become one? This competition is for you and for everyone in whom the creative streak beats, who likes to invent plots and who writes or wants to write a game in the genre of interactive literature. It can be a text game, an adventure, a quest, RPG, a game book or a visual novel. Write your own game, and we will take it to the competition.
Do you have a translator talent and a desire to share a foreign game with the rest? Translate it into Russian (with the consent of the author) - and also participate in KRIL!
Anyone can take part, show everyone his creation and win the competition.
The size of the game is not important - it can be either a small sketch for a few minutes of gameplay, or a game with a huge, developed interactive world and lots of side quests. At KRIL, everyone has equal chances, the main thing is to invest something special in your creation. The platform is not important (game engine) - you can use existing ones or even write your own. Everything else is limited only by your imagination.
