The content of the
site of the governor of the Sverdlovsk region Alexander Misharin yesterday, June 18, 2011 became available under the free license
Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported . This is indicated on the page “
Terms of Use of Site Materials ”, the link to which replaced the text “2009-2011 Administration of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region” (which, in principle, could not be done, the “” sign does not contradict free licenses). As noted in the news site a day earlier, a free license allows you to use information in Wikipedia and the blogosphere.
In
this news ,
published the day before, it was first announced that the site is switching to a free license, but it was not at all indicated which license. It looked very ugly. Now the governor has finally decided on the license and corrected.
UPD: Probably around June 20, the license was changed to a looser one -
Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported')
So, we see that
Creative Commons continues the
triumphant march around the country .
On October 3, 2008, the website of the President of Russia (Attribution 3.0) passed to the free license, on May 17, 2010 - the official information portal of the state authorities of the Republic of Bashkortostan (also Attribution 3.0), and on February 28, 2011 - the Internet portal of the Volgograd Region Administration (only Attribution 3.0, and Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0). However, the state does not only distribute its information under a free license, but also uses such information. So, on December 21, 2010, the
Roscosmos geoportal was opened, which uses the
OpenStreetMap map, which is available under the license Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0.
