On April 1 of this year, the Habr administration announced the beginning of the action of the PPA - the authors reward program. As far as I followed the events, none of the authors have yet written about their experience of participating in this program (well, or I did not pay attention). Anyway, I'll tell you what happened with me. Looking ahead - yes, I really got the money. So, as of April 1, 2011 (when the beginning of the program was announced) I could not participate in it, because it required the title “Author” - and these are 11 articles with a rating of 50 or more (namely 11, not 10 , as you might think). I then had only 7 of them. So, the first goal is to earn “Author”. Further chronology of events:
May 1, 2011 - received the title of "Author". This was achieved after 14 articles, 4 of which scored more than 50 points. The first thousand rubles appeared on the account of the PPA.
May 23 - after 6 more articles in profile blogs that scored more than 50 points each (and one non-profile article that scored more than all the others taken together) the balance reached 3332 rubles, which is enough for withdrawing money according to Habr's rules.
May 26 - I filled in all the data necessary for the withdrawal of money (including a passport scan) and ticked “Automatic withdrawal of money”. Specially for this business I started a Yandex.Money account.
On June 6, the Habra administration contacted me and asked me to specify the Webmoney ruble purse in addition to the Yandex wallet. It was argued that “some problems in the withdrawal of large sums through Yandex.Money — more than 15,000 rubles”. I provided the wallet number, noting that it should be very difficult to collect 15,000 rubles (these are 25-30 good technical articles per month). I was told that such people already exist.
June 15 - My Webmoney wallet dropped 3332 rubles, i.e. exactly as much as it was accrued. When asked by the administration, what about the “30% tax for non-residents of the Russian Federation” I was told, don’t worry, everything is legal and taxes are paid, and the author has the opportunity to transfer as much money as he earned.
