Django Dash 2011

On July 9, an international programming contest Django Dash starts, in which a team of 3 people in 48 hours should create a web application on Django.

Last year we participated in Django Dash and took 21st place . The created project “ Voices in the head ” is an online-radio, in which user-selected tracks are broadcast not only to listeners, but also to a specially trained person, whose happy face in online mode is drawn on the main page of the site.

Unfortunately, the first pancake was lumpy because of the complex external dependencies of the Video streamer service, VLC audio streamer and the person in the headphones. And, to admit, the idea itself did not cause enthusiasm among users. But we got an interesting experience, and there were great memories from the competition.

A year later ( nonstop , damnerd and Glyuck ) we will gather together for 48 hours and fight for the victory at Django Dash 2011 . This time we need your help, % username .

We need web service ideas that three Django programmers can write in 48 hours.

The project will be judged by four criteria, we are interested in two:

1. Level of polish (level of readiness, bugs).
2. Innovation (novelty ideas).

That is, the idea should be realizable at the level of the prototype in 48 hours and not be a coupon service provider.
