Greetings, habrozhiteli.
The other day my second half had a birthday and, of course, I thought beforehand what to give her. Since she is a creative person, I also decided to approach the choice of a gift creatively: “After all, we, IT people, are also creative people, and the best gift is a gift made with our own hands. So it's time to stretch your fingers. ”With such thoughts, I got down to business.

It took me 26 floppy disks, clamps, a knife, scissors, pliers and super glue to make the idea (it is better to use super-moment gel).
')

For starters, I glued floppy disks with super glue. He waited until the glue dries well. Then pulled the floppy clamps.

First, the “frame” of the box-box was assembled.

In order to tighten the collars, I used pliers: they rested against the "head" of the clamp, and with my other hand pulled the "tail".

Bottom.

After assembling the "frame", glued the walls.

Next, I pulled off the wall clamps and glued the hinges to the back wall. Unfortunately, I could not find a smaller one, although it does not look so bad. I also could not yet find suitable bolts-nuts, so the loops are kept only on super glue; I'll screw them later.

The cover was also glued first.

And then tightened clamps.

And glued to the hinges.

And so the box looks on the table :)

To add to the gift of romance, I fell asleep a box of candy and nuts. And hid at the bottom ...

... hard disk so that my friend has a place to make backups :)
PS: My second half was delighted with the gift, and I am very happy :)
