Chinese Internet users saved 840 cats from death

Chinese Internet users have rescued more than 800 cats, which were destined to be gutted and served hot.

About 30 Internet users gathered at one of the parking lots in Shanghai, after they received a message from the well-known animal advocate Cho Puyan (Huo Puyang) that two trucks were transporting cats in wooden boxes. The animal was discovered by daughter-in-law Cho Puyan, who was looking for her cats.

Internet users gathered in the parking lot, faced with the police who had already arrived, who stated that Puyan had no evidence that these animals had been stolen, and suggested that they buy the cats. 840 animals were purchased for 10 thousand yuan (about $ 1,300). Now the cats will have to undergo vaccination and other medical procedures - donations will be collected for this.
