Alternative replacement popup windows
The LightWindow v2.0 class (http://stickmanlabs.com/lightwindow/) is designed for convenient visual display of almost any information (video, flash, graphics, pages, forms ...). Works on the basis of the Prototype + Scriptaculous library.
As the author writes, the creation was triggered by the fact that various libraries from the Light- family ... are very narrowly directed, i.e. if, for example, LightBox works only with graphics, then only a Javascript programmer can “make friends” with the video. In addition to this, the author, like many of us, cannot tolerate popup-windows, which can still be found on some sites, and suggests using this class to display such information.
