Mayor Cupertino approved Apple spacecraft

As you know, on June 7 at the meeting of the City Council of Cupertino, the head of Apple presented a draft of a new corporate office in the territory that Apple bought in 2010 from Hewlett-Packard. In short, Steve Jobs wants to build a fantastic building in the shape of a giant glass spaceship that will hold offices for 12,000 employees and a dining room for 3,000 people. The building will be powered by its own natural gas power station, and a couple of thousand trees will be planted in the center of the ring and next to it.



Although the decision has not yet been made officially, the mayor of the city of Cupertino has already said at a press conference that they have “no chance” to refuse to build such an object. “The mother ship landed in our town,” he added.

According to Jobs, Apple’s staff is growing very fast, it doesn’t fit in the two current campuses, and the company is now forced to rent office space for 6,700 of its employees. By 2015, he expects to move to a new office if the city council allows construction.
