Manuals and tools for porting to WP7 for Android developers

At the end of last year, I wrote about opening a site for porting to WP7 for iPhone developers. Since then, there have been several updates, and yesterday there was a section for developers on Android.

The following tools are now available on the site:

• Android to Windows Phone API mapping tool - “online dictionary” for quickly finding a match between platforms
• A forum for discussing porting issues

Today it is obvious to many that it is profitable for developers to write applications for different platforms. And such tools can significantly simplify the implementation for WP7.

Let me remind you that on Windows Phone 7 today is the fastest growing application store. At the same time, there are now 20,000 applications there, and therefore the competition is still lower than on other platforms.
