
The “cloud” is probably the hottest topic of recent years, and not only small startups, but also huge telecommunications monsters are striving to go there.
One of the latest examples
was the launch of the “cloud” from Rostelecom.
And this news should rejoice thousands of consumers in the regions, but everything turned out to be not so simple.
If you look closely, it turns out that one of Rostelecom’s many subsidiaries, RTComm, deployed Paralles Automation and decided that they are now a true cloud provider.
And if you look at the presence of SaaS, then yes as many as 3! running and 2 announced services is a good start for ... a hosting provider. Okay, SaaS, we will count it out.

But when the term “IaaS” in the company means shared hosting, virtual servers, and Dedik, to be frankly not funny. In my opinion, such a freehand attraction for the ears looks ridiculous, especially since the company has not announced any plans to launch true IaaS services.
On the one hand, attempts to move to the cloud of such monsters are encouraging, the industry is developing, but now they are moving more and more sideways.
By the way, as opposed to Rostelecom, you can put
