On Tuesday, we presented two new devices for access to 4G mobile Internet - Yota One and Yota Many.



Yota One modem can connect to laptops and computers with any operating systems, without requiring the user to install drivers or software. In fact - this is a router with a DMZ. DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) - implies the possibility of “port forwarding” - broadcasting a request from an external network to a device port on the specified node of the internal network. The DMZ has a host to which all external packets are redirected. Therefore, the activation of the modem does not require the user to install additional drivers, in addition to those already built into the operating system. Internet will work 15 seconds after connecting the modem to the USB-port. This feature also makes it possible to connect Yota One to a wide range of other compatible consumer electronics devices that have a USB connector — game consoles, media centers, fixed routers, car navigators, etc. The Yota One is even smaller and easier than other Yota modems. In addition, the Yota One has a more robust case, the modem does not block other inputs (the USB connector rotates, the modem can also be connected via a cord). Also on the body of the Yota One appeared a glowing Yota logo, which lights up when a WiMAX connection is established. If it is lit in blue, then the Internet is connected.

Yota Many - the second device in the new line after the Yota One. This is an access point that accepts 4G mobile Internet and distributes it via Wi-Fi, which is always convenient to carry around with you. Yota Many can work as a normal modem, via USB or micro USB while the device, as the router will continue to distribute Wi-Fi. Yota Many allows you to connect up to 8 Wi-Fi devices (phones, gadgets, tablets or just laptops). Yota Many works up to 24 hours without recharging, while at any time you can connect to the device via Wi-Fi. With active use Yota Many works from 5 to 15 hours. In sleep mode (with Wi-Fi and WiMAX turned off), the battery lasts for 2 weeks. Yota Many goes out of sleep in 5 seconds, so it makes no sense to turn it off completely.
