I would like to support the tradition of joint solution of interesting problems and offer one of my favorite tasks.

A channel has been dug that doubles at a 90 degree angle. The width of each section of the channel is 1 meter.
Obviously, a raft of 1 meter by 1 meter can float along the channel (friction against the walls can be neglected). The task is considered on the plane.
It is required to find a larger area figure that can also overcome the channel.
I propose to write my own solutions in which the area is larger than 1 m 2 or, respectively, of the previous best solution. When you find a solution known to me, I will write.
