Paradoxical as it sounds, but it is.
I could cite a bunch of reasons why you shouldn’t listen to people who advise some of their time management systems, but, fortunately, one is enough - the most important one. And it sounds like this - all people are different.
At first glance, it is trite.
At second glance, this is indecently trite. But do not rush to conclusions.

Such phrases are often found in blogs - “I tried many techniques, but I stopped at this one”, “it seems to me that of all the methods, this one is the most suitable for me”, “I have been using it for 2 weeks already, and so far everything is fine.” Doubt comes when you see that from the moment of publication the author begins to post less often, then ceases to mention time management at all, as if he forgot about it.
People most often are susceptible to the result. We want everything at once, so we plunge into the new, trying to squeeze the maximum in the shortest possible time. Same thing with time management systems. Changing them every few weeks, some give up and continue to live chaotically, others try new and new, sooner or later joining the first group. And rarely, when something really stays for long. This time.
The second. Why are there so many books and time management seminars? Why did it become so popular? The answer is very simple. There is a demand - therefore there is a proposal. The science of how to do everything today is in fashion. If earlier only real specialists dealing with this issue published their materials based on real research, now almost every housewife can recommend their own time management system. From this huge flow of information it becomes very difficult to isolate something useful for yourself. And it is difficult to understand, if anything useful in it at all.
In general, what is the main idea of this post? No need to drive yourself in any framework of any systems. I doubt that Leonardo used the autofocus system or GTD. Napoleon could hardly have made todo lists (however, he had ministers for this, but that's not the point). The main thing is to be able at any moment to gather the will into a fist and force yourself to do what sometimes you do not want, but you need. That's the whole secret.
