By occupation, one has to deal with cartographic services. And I observe that gradually all of them lose useful functionality.
The most convenient map for plotting routes from fixed points in Moscow and the Moscow region is
Google Maps .
The algorithm is quite simple:
- Creates a map with points of "start"
- With each request to calculate the route from the point of "beginning" a route is laid to the point of "end"
But if before it was possible to customize the content displayed on the map using the “magic plus sign”, now only the last step is displayed.
In practice, this means that if I need to optimize the route, I can’t simultaneously see both the delivery point and several shipping points.
To read new routes, you have to reload the map, select the desired scale, find the shipping point, etc.
')
To calculate routes outside the Moscow region, it is convenient to use
Mail.ru cards . However, if earlier it was convenient and intuitively clear how to correct the route along the road that is needed (and not for the one that offers the service), then how now is not clear. In addition, if earlier several counted routes were displayed on the map at the same time (until you start deleting them), now, only one at a time.
The third grand
Yandex.Maps is similar in functionality to Google Maps, but inferior in capabilities.
You can create your map (and it’s better than Google’s, it works with a large number of points, without breaking them into blocks of 200). But it is impossible to calculate the route from the point of your map, and an incomprehensible mess occurs with the design of the points - choosing a color does not affect the design of the label and its number readability.
“Once is an accident.
Two is a trend.
Three - the pattern. "
What happens to map services?
It would be understandable if you offered to switch to paid products - but as a result of actions you lean towards paid products of competitors.
