OCZ introduced two new production drives at Computex 2011

At Computex 2011, a lot of good things are already presented (much more than it is covered by the press, both regular and online media). Every day there is all new information, so to speak "reports from the front." One of these reports concerns two new drive models released by OCZ. The drives were called RevoDrive 3 X2 and RevoDrive Hybrid. Both models, by the way, are based on PCI-Express x4 and SandForce SF-2200 controllers.

As for the first product, RevoDrive 3 X2, it is available in two variations, the difference between which is only in the amount of memory: 240 or 960 GB. The cost of the model with 240 GB is $ 699. The cost of the older model with a memory capacity of 960 GB has not yet been announced. Compared to the RevoDrive X2, the RevoDrive 3 X2 adds support for TRIM and performance is almost doubled.

The OCZ team conducted a demonstration, during which very significant results were shown: 1.5GBps - read speed, and 1.2GBps - write speed. In general, very, very good.

As for the second product, presented by OCZ, RevoDrive Hybrid, this is really a hybrid drive, which is a system from a 500 GB hard disk and a 60 GB SSD. In this system, the SSD serves as a caching device, thanks to which the system performance is significantly increased - about 20 times compared to a regular hard disk. The cost of this device is 350 US dollars.

Both products should appear on the market in July of this year.
