The first Service Pack for Vista may appear the other day

First Service Pack for Vista may come out in a week
A lot has already been said about the first service pack for the Windows Vista operating system in recent months, but there is no clarity on the exact release date. By now, one thing is clear - before the fall-winter of 2007, Microsoft developers are unlikely to present anything sane. However, today, thanks to the gentlemen from the Engadget web resource and some sources who wished to remain unknown, Vista users may hope for a miracle.

According to today's rumors, the first Service Pack can see the light in just a week - on Monday, July 16th. Of course, there is no talk of any final release: at best, the package will be accompanied by a postscript beta. The final build of Vista SP1 will be released “somewhere closer to November” (does anyone believe in it?). As for the content of the package, all the same sources report that the main focus in Vista SP1 will be put on fixing bugs, and you can forget about new features for now.

One way or another, it makes perfect sense for Windows Vista users to return to this topic in exactly one week. Worse, certainly not.
